I don't like socks & I almost never wear them! I was born barefoot and I am happier that way. It is a genetic thing , My three girls(My Daughters & My Grand baby) also share this dislike.

I don't smoke and I have a Large Cigar box collection. I think they are Beautiful!

I always Loved it when my children were home from School. The summer was never long enough. I would let them stay home from School & take them to lunch. We called it a mental
Health Day.

I Hated High School and the class that helped me get through was Jewelry Class.

I once was a window Model in a Clothing Store in Denver. It sounds Glamorous but I had to

stand there for hours without moving & It was hot and sweaty & people would come up to the window and make you Laugh.

I don't like very many rides at the amusement park. I either feel like I want to throw up or I think I am going to die and I begin to sing Jesus Loves me!

I am Hilarious and some of My friends & Family just don't know it.

I still haven't decided what I want to be when I grow up(sorry that's 8)

Quilts for Africa Orphans Contest!!!

My most recent Hero in the Creative World is Joel Dewberry. He is an amazing Fabric Designer & Artist. Find out more about his Beautiful Fabrics here. Joel was kind enough to send us a wonderful assortment of Fabric to create mini '2x2' quilts to bring to a orphanage in Ethiopia in January.

If you sew or know a Sew Sister, Mom, Friend or anyone else that sews please tell them about our contest.

We will send each person that enters enough Fabric to Make the front of a mini quilt.

You may enter more than once-just let us know how many you would like to create.

you add batting and the back & finish the quilt with your design, creativity & details.

Mail the finished mini Quilt back by Dec. 20th.
